Q: What Are Your Hours?
A: Vancouver Defenders is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays.
The law office is closed on weekends and court holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Q: Where do I need to go for my court hearing?
A: The Clark County Courthouse is at 1200 Franklin St. in downtown Vancouver. Camas-Washougal Municipal Court is at 89 C St. in Washougal. Need to plan your trip by bus? C-Tran's website makes it easy with a "Plan Your Trip" feature.
Q: Can I have a copy of the police reports in my case?
A: You can order your own copy by contacting the arresting agency. You can review the reports at our office by calling and scheduling an appointment with your attorney. We are not allowed to give out copies.
Q: When is my court date?
A: Go to the Washington Courts website and click on “Case Records by Name, Number & Date” under “Search.” Click “Find My Court Date.” This works for District and Municipal courts. For a Superior Court matter, use the Odyssey Portal.
Q: If I hire you, how much does it cost?
A: The cost varies depending on the complexity of the case. An estimated cost will be determined at your free consultation.
Q: I am charged with a crime. Does it cost anything to meet with you to see if you can help me?
